#1 New York Times bestselling author and financial expert Suze Orman helped millions of Americans change the course of their financial destiny and prosper in every way with The Courage to Be Rich. Now, Suze has revised and updated this million-copy bestseller to further inspire readers to find the courage to start over in these changing times and realize their true potential for material and spiritual wealth-even in today's challenging economic climate. n nNow available in trade paperback for the first time, this edition goes beyond Suze's earlier work in outlining a life-changing process for manifesting abundance and brings her revolutionary ideas of combining the spiritual and the financial up to date. With honesty, empathy, and a dazzling knowledge of how the world of money works, the country's most trusted financial expert motivates readers to summon the courage to cope with tragedy-whether it's personal or global-along with its economic aftermath. Rich in spirit, The Courage to Be Rich also reveals how a sagging economy may influence the money readers have-and have yet to make-and what they need to do to safeguard their financial future without sacrificing their generosity. n nWith new information that pertains to recent changes in tax laws and how they affect IRAs, The Courage to Be Rich addresses the financial issues and milestones we face throughout our lives-marriage, divorce, and death; buying a home; and spending (and overspending) on life's necessities and luxuries. Suze shows readers how to take control of their financial tomorrows today with her trademark expertise and compassion, and convinces us that we can alter our financial destinies only when our intentions are in harmony our actions. That process begins with overcoming and forgiving feelings of fear-an emotion that acts as an internal obstacle to wealth. Suze explains how to make room for more money by eliminating all the clutter-thoughts, words, actions, and material objects-blocking its path. This newfound clarity will empower readers to start afresh to create the true wealth they want and deserve. n nIn The Courage to Be Rich, Suze urges readers to live beyond the bottom line by passing money through their hearts and hands out into the world, to make it a better place. She demonstrates how every action taken is an offering to the world that repays in kind, and how charity has the power to enhance every life. Best of all, she explains how to determine when one is giving too much and when one is giving too little. n nCombining practical strategies, personal exercises, compelling case studies, and her trademark provocative insights, Suze guides readers through the financial rites of passage, detailing how to: n nFind the courage to endure financial setbacks and overcome feelings of shame, fear, or anger about money n nKeep money safe in a weak economy n nSpeak the language of wealth rather than the language of poverty n nBreak debilitating patterns that keep you from having more and being more n nProtect your life against the financial what-ifs n nStart over from nothing n nUse your home to secure your retirement years n nPrepare safely and wisely for the future n nBring together the laws of wealth with the laws of life n nFor Suze, The Courage to Be Rich means valuing people over money and money over things. It means having all that you love and loving all that you have. It means turning toward your money and turning some of your money toward others. Ultimately, it means taking the courageous steps necessary to attain your material and spiritual wealth. n nPractical, spiritual, and above all, soundly financial, The Courage to Be Rich is a book for today's challenging times.

What does the Book Condition Very Good mean? Good? Fair?
See our descriptions of book descriptions here: book's conditions.
What does ffep stand for?
Front-facing endpaper - the first page of a book inside the cover. This page is typically blank. Often people will write their name on this page at the top, or a gift message - which is why you will see ‘owner’s name on ffep’ in some of our book descriptions.
What does dj stand for?
Dust Jacket - the outer paper wrapping on a hardback book. If we mention a book is ’No dj’ this means it should have a dust jacket but it is missing.
What is foxing?
Foxing is an age-related process of deterioration that causes spots and browning on old books. The causes of foxing are not well understood, but high humidity may contribute to to foxing.
Foxing - Wikipedia
What is tanning?
Age tanning, or browning, occurs over time on the pages of books. This process can show up on just the edges of pages, when this occurs it is sometimes referred to as "edge tanning." This kind of deterioration is commonly seen in books printed before the advent of acid-free paper in the 1980s.
r/BookCollecting - Is this mold or normal aging for a well used book?

Where do you get your books from?
We buy books from the public and also take donations. We travel regularly around the Wellington/Manawatu region, and will go further afield to collect larger quantities in our big van. We also like to go to book fairs and other charity events and buy books that catch our eye.
Are your photos of the actual books being sold?
It depends - we have sometimes used stock images for very common books but are in the process of photographing our entire inventory. This will take awhile to finish! If we have 10 copies of the Da Vinci code all in Very Good condition, we will just photograph one and use that to represent all 10 in stock. However if the next copy of worn and only in Fair condition, we will photograph that separately and create a new listing for it.
What is the most expensive book you have sold?
To date it was a first edition first printing copy of JRR Tolkien’s The Two Towers. It was in very poor condition but still was worth over NZ$1000.
What is your favourite book to sell?
I love seeing anything written by Stephen King - they just do not stay in our inventory for very long before someone spots it and buys it. And Alison Holst’s book on muffins will not stay in inventory very long either - too cheap at $7 maybe?
Why do you also sell mailing supplies?
We had a lot of trouble sourcing the right sort of bubble mailer to send our books out in, and eventually found a supplier of high quality mailers in China to import them from. We figured other sellers of small items in New Zealand might like to also use them.
Are you open to the public?
Unfortunately our books are all stored in a large warehouse in boxes so they are not easily browsable. The SKU number for a book tells us where to find it in the warehouse, but there is absolutely no order to where things are stored! We do allow pickups so if you find what you like online you can order it and drop in to pick up p, saving on shipping.
